This release will contain tracks from Wellcome, Stansted, Filthy White Guy and SLUG as well as a number of new pieces including the "Brain Scraper Death Dive (rebuild)".

"Tipico caso di gruppo che "ha seminato, ma non ha ricevuto il raccolto", i Portion Control insieme a Cabaret Voltaire e Legendary Pink Dot stanno alla base del suono di di gruppi come Front 242, Skinny Puppy e Front Line Assembly, ampiamente onorati anche da gruppi più "mainstream" come Depeche Mode, Orbital, Prodigy. Nati nel 1980, la prima fase della loro carriera dura fino al 1987 e vede all’attivo ben sette album e cinque Ep dove in pratica tutti i territori dell’electro-industrial vengono toccati, e dove compaiono molte caratteristiche che poi ritroveremo nei gruppi sopracitati: i primi album presentano le sperimentazioni e la voce che poi saranno di Ogre e cevin Key e cose vicine a SPK, Coil, Throbbing Gristle , altri successivi un discorso più lineare caro ai Front Line Assembly, così come alcuni pezzi che avrebbero spopolato nelle discoteche dell’epoca (The Great Divide tra tutti), se non fosse che al gruppo interessava solo sperimentare ogni possibilità della musica elettronica in quello che loro hanno sempre chiamato "hard rhythmic electronic". In seguito sono riemersi nel duemiladue grazie alle possibilità di autogestione offerte da internet e hanno piazzato sul mercato un paio di album e alcune uscite online che dimostrano come utilizzando i tanto bistrattati (dai puristi) softwares è possibile ottenere un suono old school e decisamente duro, naturalmente sapendo come fare e quali usare, e allo stesso tempo hanno offerto un ottimo esempio di come si può fare ebm moderna e sperimentale lontana da ogni clichè sia nostalgico, sia legato alle mode del momento."
