MORDANT MUSIC // TWO NEW CD ALBUMS

The Mordant Music puffball has spored again with the release of two new CD albums. Both are available to buy now from Mordant Music's brand new online vessel ahead of the full release elsewhere.

• Artist: Mordant Music
• Title: ‘Carrion Squared’
• Label: Mordant Music
• Format: CDCat. No: MM015
• Release Date: June 2007

In the summer of 2006 Mordant Music were approached by Boosey & Hawkes to contribute to a library album of ‘drone’ based pieces....these 40 off-cuts of nascent synthetic scree reflect this association....this is ‘Carrion Squared’, the noxious unformed unwarranted harvest of the corvid’s collision with the business park hawk, the fruits of a discarded carcass....MM threatens to envelop....

• Artist: Mordant Music
• Title: ‘The Tower – Parts VII-XVIII’
• Label: Mordant Music
• Format: CD
• Cat. No: MM016
• Release Date: June 2007

Back in the heady fauxdieaval times of 2005 MM unwisely presented 'The Tower - Parts I-VII' (seven movements of mock-Tudor menace which failed to trouble a cellbound Burzum) to bemused spores....the imaginary tale of Lord Klattr & Baron Mordant chancing upon and fully investigating this brick morass through the medium of black metal electronics confounded to some extent....all the more reason then to extend the saga by a further eleven parts we thought....

MM015 & MM016 are also available to download exclusively as mp3 files from Boomkat.
