In the summer of 2006 Mordant Music were approached by Boosey & Hawkes to contribute to a library album of ‘drone’ based pieces....these 40 off-cuts of nascent synthetic scree reflect this association....this is ‘Carrion Squared’, the noxious unformed unwarranted harvest of the corvid’s collision with the business park hawk, the fruits of a discarded carcass....MM threatens to envelop....

Back in the heady fauxdieaval times of 2005 MM unwisely presented 'The Tower - Parts I-VII' (seven movements of mock-Tudor menace which failed to trouble a cellbound Burzum) to bemused spores....the imaginary tale of Lord Klattr & Baron Mordant chancing upon and fully investigating this brick morass through the medium of black metal electronics confounded to some extent....all the more reason then to extend the saga by a further eleven parts we thought....
